Safina Development Organization is a Kenyan NGO rooted in Bomet County. We work where climate resilience, education, women’s empowerment, food security and technology meet.
Our story
Safina began with practical community action in Bomet: tree planting, learning resources and local training. That experience shaped an approach to poverty that treats people’s needs as connected rather than separate.

To alleviate poverty in marginalized communities through ecojustice, women’s empowerment, education, climate action and technological innovation.

We listen, assess needs with local people, build on knowledge that already exists and co-create practical responses that communities can maintain.
